  Bio Carl R. Adams was born Sept. 28, 1936, and passed away Nov. 27, 2015, due to heart failure at Glen Oaks Retirement Home. He was a graduate of East High School in Des Moines, Iowa, and attended one year of college. On Aug. 4, 1954, he married Deloris, and they had three sons. Carl was a Des Moines fire fighter for 30 years from 1961-1991. He loved being a fire fighter and traveling, and being with his family and friends. After he retired from the fire department, Carl was a school bus driver. He is survived by his wife, Deloris; sons, Rick (Sherree) Adams, Steve (Shelly) Adams, and Dean (Becky) Adams; brother, Larry Adams of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren, Nicole Adams (Matt) Kressin, Brett (Angel) Adams, and DJ Adams of Hardy, AR; two great-grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Keo.
